The main objective of the PAVCOOL project is the development of new typologies for the production of cold asphalt mixtures that reduce the current carbon footprint of bituminous mixtures used in urban and interurban road conservation. To achieve this, it is intended to develop a tool based on Artificial Intelligence (Deep Learning) that will enable optimization in the design and future quality control of different cold manufacturing technologies.
This initiative is funded by the Valencian Agency of Innovation (AVI) through the Business Value Chain Consolidation Program for the period 2023-2025 (INNCAD/2023/113) and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
